West Otter in Action

We did Secchi Disc tests today ( 8/2/2011) and the results are as follows:

West Otter Lake:  Sunny/Breezy 3:00 P.M. Surface water temp = 86F

                          Water Depth                Reading           Water Temp

1st test -                    11'                           4 9/10'                    86F

2nd test -                   24'                           3 8/10'                    84F

3rd test -                    29'                           4'                            84F

As you can see - the readings are not near as good as before.

The water is brown/green which means that it has more algae

and the temp is warmer. We are not the only lake with this color

or temp.
